I want to buy some Christmas music!

Micro Blog November 5th, 2008

I want to buy some Christmas music – the classics. We are getting close to Christmas and every once in a while I hear a tune through the radio or TV and it makes me what to listen to the whole peace. I am looking forward to the holidays.

Is it necesary to be so loud?

I have been listening to radio, music and videos on the Web using tools like WinAmp, flash players and embedded Windows Media Player and QuickTime. For some reason, even though the volume on my PC is set to as low as possible without being 0, the sound coming through my headphones is always extremely loud. Is it really necessary for this sound to be so loud? Why do programmers feel the need to set the default volume so darn loud?

People are not naturally deaf, nor should we have to anticipate deafeningly loud sound coming from the speakers.

mixwit.com allows you to make your own virtual mix tape. You can search for any song or band you would like to hear, and then via a drag and drop interface you can select the songs you want and arrange them in any way you want. Once you are done with your selection, you can pick your own tape design, color, font and so forth. Then, thanks to Gigya, you can embed your song selection on any social network, your blog or a web page.

I like Queen, so I have created a play list, that includes the first 15 Queen songs…
