Over the weekend I had some lack of video from my XBox360. Nothing that some heat couldn’t fix. Apparently most problems with the Xbox360 are fixed by that that kills PC – heat.

I have an XBox360, which is one of those that was born with bugs and “genetic” issue – meaning an early version – one from the early ones, made before the red ring of death became evident  and all the various versions started to come out. Luckily, I don’t abuse and rarely spend massive amount of hours playing it, thus I don’t have very many…

I was right! Buy Yahoo stock.

Last week I tweeted that Yahoo’s stock was at $10 per share and it was time to buy. Comments on my tweet (Micro post.) said that it is pointless to do so. As I was on my way to New York, I wasn’t able to provide a response to the comments.

With today’s reports about Yahoo’s CEO, Jerry Yang, stepping down I wish I had listened to my own advice. But there is still time to buy, buy, buy. People have been complaining about Yang and wanting him out of the decisions circle. Now he is out and…

Google’s Chrome browser

magitam: Google’s Non-launch of Chrome – do you think we should hold Google accountable for their broken promise? http://life.magitam.org.uk/2008/09/02/google-too-big-to-keep-its-promise/

Google has decided to create their own browser, dubbed Chrome. It is open source based on WebKit and powered by Google Gears. Another browser amongst many others. I don’t particularly care for most of Google’s products, thus I most likely won’t even test drive this product. I think, though, that Chrome will gain popularity, and it will be fast, very fast for couple of reasons.

First reason being – people, for some reason, are just crazy about Google and what it has to offer….

Way to go Microsoft!

Critic's Realm, Humor, Techie February 14th, 2008

I was going through old emails in my email inbox and I found an old event promo email from Microsoft. The email was about the Microsoft Connections Event for Small Businesses held in Lincolnshire. What was funny about it was that the event was from 8 AM to 12 PM on the day I received the emails 15 minutes after the event had ended.

Way to go Microsoft, sending out a mass email, about an event you had organized, 15 minutes after the event had already ended. That was really useful heeds up wast of my time.

Keep the rocks, I will take the XBOX 360 wireless adapter

Around the World, gaming August 30th, 2007

I want to turn my Xbox 360 wireless, but the cost of the Microsoft Xbox360 wireless network adapter is ridiculously prohibitive – $99. That peace of hardware should not cost so much, knowing that there are so many other wireless adapters, which can be used interchangeably between various types of equipment. Micro$oft is milking the situation. Every few days I scan through ebay looking for someone selling that darn adapter at a low price, or at the least the auction price is around or, hopefully, below $50.

So far … no luck!

Well, tonight, while I was looking through the auctions, I noticed…
