That’s a bit far!

July 1st, 2008

I recently decided to track how many mile I drive to work. It so happens that I drive 70 miles to work and back every day. I spend between 2.5 and 3 hours driving, and almost everyday half of it is sitting in traffic. I spend $70 every 5 days to fill up my sedan.

Justin.tv helps in burglary thanks to people with no social live!

June 20th, 2008

Justin.TV logoA Justin.TV member was victimized by his neighbors who burglarized his apartment. Thanks to other members of the CDN a video of that burglary was isolated. After watching for a while, I can say that those who just site there and watch others through their web cams must have either a voyeuristic issues or no lives. Personally I could hardly watch more than few minutes from the burglary video and I had to run the commentary/interview video in the background and just listen to it, but not without skipping few times.

Watch live video from WOOT TV on Justin.tv

Also, listening to how members of the community talk, I can say that even though they might not know each other they are more open to sharing and conversing. I guess exposing your life for everyone to watch has to come with extrovert personality.

Firefox 3 at work

June 20th, 2008

Firefox 3It’s time to upgrade to Firefox 3 at work. I did it last night at home and I can say I love the new design and functionality. Now if the developers of some of the extensions I use could update their code so they become compatible with FF3, that would be wonderful.

FOX News, you over dramatizing, panic spreading liars.

April 18th, 2008

FOX News really needs to get new writers, because like always FOX is full of it.!. FOX News announcement of the earthquake in Illinois was “A powerful 5.2 magnitude earthquake in central Illinois sends skyscrapers swaying in Chicago.”. WTF FOX? I live 5 minutes from downtown, pretty much everyone in Chicago did NOT know that there was an earthquake until it was announced on the news this morning.

This bloated company needs to higher local reporters and get their drama lies straight. Oh wait, they did, that’s why they reported unrealistic events in Chicago.

Way to go Microsoft!

February 14th, 2008

Microsoft email 15 mins after event.I was going through old emails in my email inbox and I found an old event promo email from Microsoft. The email was about the Microsoft Connections Event for Small Businesses held in Lincolnshire. What was funny about it was that the event was from 8 AM to 12 PM on the day I received the emails 15 minutes after the event had ended.

Way to go Microsoft, sending out a mass email, about an event you had organized, 15 minutes after the event had already ended. That was really useful heeds up wast of my time.
