Domain Record Info
I wanted a way to quickly view the record information on a domain, but I did not want anyone tracking domains I look up. Or like some bad registrars, have any possible domain I look up end up as registered thanks to the ICANN grace period and overpriced registrars trying to extort money before selling the domain.
So, I ended up searching for possible WhoIs scripts and how one could query the domain record information and ended up coming across the whois.php script, which is currently utilized on Domain Record Info. Also accessed via WhoIsMesh.com and DomaIndex.Info.
There are few other options/functions I would like to add to the page - ping, dns report, and various help and tutorials information. Eventually I would like to do something similar to DNS Stuff, but for the moment it will have to wait. Right now I have many other projects.

I am tired of continuously battling SPAM on my websites. I have decided to conduct my own way of combating SPAM. I have decided to reverse the SPAM flow. To do so, I created Bad SPAM, Bad. There I will post any email address that is used in SPAM on my websites.
I wonder how the owners will feel when the SPAM flow is reversed?!

The Hive Minds Hosting project is near its completion.
For the current variety of services offered and complexity needed, the web site has been finished. Any changes to the web site in the near future will be purely cosmetic. I might have to restructure the web site in the long term, to improve functionality and management, a result of the products and services that could be offered in the future. As it turns out, after spending couple of weeks researching and planing the future, there is a vast field of options to be considered. The choices vary greatly. I have compiled a huge list that needs to be organized into sections of types of service, cost to start and maintain, what is the possible success rate and return on the investment. Plenty of work, but I won’t have do it until down the road. Continue reading »
Hive Minds Hosting is borne.
The last hosting incident lead me to something I did not think I would really ever do. What that might be you are asking? Something that guarantees me that my web sites will remain always up and free of charge. I started my own hosting company – HiveMindsHosting.com. At the moment I am still in the process of setting up hosting plans, then I have to decide on prices, followed by developing a nice and interactive web site. I still have to do few other things, like signing up for financial accounts and setting up an order processing system. I have been working on this on and off for the last few days. It is an involved project. Not as easy as one might think, but yet pleasing and rewarding in the end
