Noob!!! What noob?
The Titan, gaming February 21st, 2006
So, few days ago, I was playing my favorite ‘puter game - Natural Selection - and Amanda walked in the room and saw the game. Somehow she got intrigued and for the following couple of days wanted me to sit and play the game, so she can watch the action. Now, isn’t that awesome? How many guys can say that their girlfriend is asking them to play a ‘puter game so she can watch it? Anyways, on the third day she asked to play.
It did not take her long to get used to is. She just had to get some practice with the movement/looking/aiming all at once.

I just plaid Day of Defeat:Source, and I just want to say that the game is UN-FUCKIN-BELIEVABLE. The graphics are incredible, the sounds are incredible, the effects are incredible.
Don’t be a prick!

Damn it I am so tired of seeing and reading of one person calling another a noob. It is so stupid. Does not matter what it is about. Everyone has started from the same place, same position, with ZERO clue, ZERO knowledge about whatever the subject where one person calls another a noob.

Migrating HLDS Linux server from WON to STEAM.
Tutorials, gaming December 7th, 2004
I found this tutorial in my back-ups from the old Clan MP I had designed. This tutorial I wrote shortly after Valve released the Half-Life Steam Dedicated Server, but it never made it to the new web site. Now I am including it on my web site, simply because it is a more appropriate place for it here than on the MP web site. Another reason I am putting it here is because I am thinking to write other tutorials and present them on my web site. The convenience of the blog data base will allow me to keep the tutorials organized and still be able to present them to people visiting only my web site or my blog.

My word of inspiration.
Critic's Realm, gaming November 9th, 2004
My word of inspiration to the -(MP)- Clan from earlier today:
to Victory
We had our first scrim after last FAL (Fire Arms League) season. It was against -|[FxR]|-, and surprisingly -(MP)- got pummeled. We lost both rounds due to the lack of moral and action on our part. This is something that the clan has to seriously turn to and improve on. We need to start acting as one again. The new FAL season is around the corner and we need to be ready. There are number of new clans, which formed after last FAL season, so we will have some competition, but, we have an advantage. We are one of the oldest clans still in existence. Our rules and traditions set us apart from the rest, but our skill and unity sets us ahead of them.
Last FAL season, we were one of the clans who made it to the semi finals. We had a shot at the title of FAL champion, and we came close. We can do it again this season, and we can win that title. There is some new blood in our ranks, members who are very skilled. After being on the server on Sunday night and seeing 11, yes eleven, -(MP)- members waiting to fight filled me with optimism and happiness. I saw that we are active and we are ready to fight. We just need to work on how we interact and follow orders. If Wind, The Pro and Defen were able to join us, I saw them on AIM, we would have had a full server of just clan members. This is AMAZING, it is something I have not seen before. This is why I was happy to see you all guys, and I know in my heart that we can win this FAL season.
FAL starts in a week. Our first match is against -|[FxR]|-. I also have screen shots of us in the gallery.
Good luck and God Speed.
There is no “I” in clan nor -(MP)-

how to enjoy CS:S
gaming October 9th, 2004
Earlier this afternoon I was playing CS: Source and I figured out how to actually enjoy the game. For it to make sense and actually have fun playing it, there have to be at the most 6 players on each team. To me that seem more controlled but also more engaging, because then the rounds don’t last forever and you get to search for people. Players also get a chance to better work as a team, which is how I think Counter-Strike was originally intended to work. Now with 10 to 15 players on each team, it’s just a shoot out and a quick slaughter. Seems lame to me, and it doesn’t required any skill or for players to work together.

CS is lame … Source engine kicks ass
gaming October 8th, 2004
Last night I played CS:S so I can check out the Source engine, and now I remember why I stopped playing CS years ago, it is boring and lame, made so by the assholes who play it. Man this people are pricks. I tried CS:CZ & CS:CZ DS both boring. NS and FA have class, stile and the communities are much better. Well the NS community was better before STEAM - brows games and TechTV brought all the CS assholes over.
