This morning I implemented Google Buzz. You can see the button on the left of this paragraph. After playing around with the code, I buzzed my last post, which was about high fructose corn syrup. When I checked my Google profile I noticed that after the title of the article there was a “null”, which linked back to the home page of my blog.

After spending few minutes searching on the Internet, I wasn’t able to find much information on the problem. Next I decided to look for API documents and other help information published by Google. Google has many uses, one of which being a spellchecker. But when a word has different spellings, whit different meanings, it is time to start experimenting with searching for the word in sentences.

This morning I was looking for the correct spelling of the plural of “son”. I was not sure if it was “sons” or “sones”. The first describes male offspring, the second apparently is: a unit measuring the loudness of sound as subjectively perceived, equal to a tone of 1 kilohertz at 40 decibels above the threshold where sounds become audible to the listener.
