Reversing the flow on SPAM
Announcements, Around the World, Legacy, Techie April 28th, 2007
I am tired of continuously battling SPAM on my websites. I have decided to conduct my own way of combating SPAM. I have decided to reverse the SPAM flow. To do so, I created Bad SPAM, Bad. There I will post any email address that is used in SPAM on my websites.
I wonder how the owners will feel when the SPAM flow is reversed?!
Since when does the grocery store charges a fee to exchange bills for coins? A while back I was at the local grocery chain store to exchange a twenty dollar bill for the same in coins. I needed change so I can do laundry. The girl behind the counter told me that there will be a 50 cent charge for the exchange. Needless to say, it did not happen.
I will not pay for something, when in return you receive something of equal monetary value, nor do you have to do anything extra to acquire that which I need. The armory truck comes and picks up the money and drops off coins. I can go to the back, a block away, and exchanger the bill or I can go to the next grocery store, couple of blocks away, and make the exchange for FREE.
At the time of this happening, I had not heard ridiculous statements for a while, so I guess it was time for refreshments. Huhh??
It’s not the same!

Couple of night ago I was watching South Park. The episode’s theme relied partly on the relations between Americans and Canadians and the American view of expressed toward Canadians. Never mind the whole theme, what struck me as odd is that coming from New York and have been living in Chicago for almost tow years, all the Canadian jokes and remarks did not have the same effect that they would have if I was still in New York. Metis
Around the World February 26th, 2006
I was having problems with running a particular server. After a while I was not able to figure out what the problem was, so I started searching on the web. I came across a site which required me to register before I could search through its resources. So I did. I was choosing a random password, nothing remotely close to my usual set of passwords nor something that made sense to me. So thinking that I was just making up a word I typed in metis as my chosen password. Out of curiosity I decided to look up the word. I wanted to know if it actually existed and if it did, what it meant.
Well it was an actual word and below is its definition according to Encarta’s dictionary:
Canadian of mixed descent: in Canada, somebody of mixed aboriginal and European, especially French-Canadian, descent who is now defined by the Canadian Constitution Act of 1982 as an aboriginal person
Now that is funny!

Couple of weeks ago Amanda and I were driving on I55. I was doing about 67mph when in my rear view mirror I picked out a state trooper’s car. There was a car in front and to my left and another one about half mile behind me. Eventually, the cars around me saw the trooper’s vehicle as well, so they all started to slow down to the posted speed limit.
Can’t view!! Why not?

This video can not be viewed in the US on the Google Video site. I wonder why? From what I read on Digg, people in other civilized countries cannot either.
After watching the video I do not see anything controversial nor propagandistic. All it is, is some video montage and summarization of few history time frames. What do you see and why do you think this video is banned in the US and other countries?
Ridiculous Drum Solo…by a 12 YEAR OLD (video)
Around the World January 24th, 2006
This is the video of a sweet drum solo by Tony Royster Jr. The video is over seven minuets long, but is simply amazing.
I found the link on Digg.
By far the best drummer in the world for his age, Tony Royster Junior just tears up this drum set and makes the pro’s look not so professional…jaw-dropping…
