Swaptree is great. For the most part I’ve had great experience, but fact of the matter is that I’m not going to swap a $60 game for a $5 DVD. The Swaptree system needs to have either a learning curve or be more flexible and allow users to customize trade criteria. If I repeatedly reject a swap of a game for a DVD, then record it in your database. Don’t lower my acceptance frequency values. I am NOT going to trade just to trade and make you money. That’s a waist of my time and money. If I did that then I can save all the money I would have spend in postage and just go buy the item brand NEW.

If I reject a trade then the system should record which items were involved, what type they were and their condition. Don’t offer me similar trade and at times involving the exact same items days later.

Have any of you experienced this same issues? What do you like or dislike about the service? Let me know with a comment or two below. Looking at Swaptree’s forums, I see plenty of unhappy people.

I am an avid Swaptree users and found your post interesting. I accept and reject trades frequently, and would prefer the system to not filter future trades. I want to make the decision. I think the matching system is fantastic and I have had nothing but success with the sites. Go Swaptree!!!!
